Express delivery is the “guaranteed or reimbursed” Bigblue express transport offer. The best carrier is selected to achieve a next day home delivery with the highest quality

Main characteristics of the transport offer

• A delivery time guaranteed* of one working day**: in case of non respect of the delivery time, the order fulfillment costs are reimbursed by Bigblue***
• A delivery service with signature
• In case of a first failed attempt delivery,
  • if the carrier is Colis Privé, the parcel is dropped off in a pickup point and the address is specified to the buyer via mail or SMS. The custody time is of 7 working days.
  • if the carrier is Colissimo, a second home delivery is performed as early as the next day

Parcels characteristics

• The maximum parcel Weight is 30 kg
• The maximum parcel Length is 100 cm
• The maximum parcel Length + Width + Height is 150 cm

Invoiced weight

• Express delivery is invoiced on volumetric weight
• Volumetric coefficient is equal to 5000
• Factor 2 Volumetric Weight (VW) application:
  • If VW (as measured by the carrier) > 2 * Real Weight (RW) of the parcel (as weighed by the carrier) then the invoiced weight is equal to the Volumetric Weight
  • Else: invoicing based on the parcel Real Weight (as weighed by the carrier)
• Example 1
  • You want to ship a product measuring 45 x 20 x 15 cm and weighing 3 kg
  • Your packaging measures 60 x 30 x 20 cm and weighs 3,5 kg (product + packaging weight)
  • VW = 7,2 kg and RW = 3,5 kg
  • You will be charged for a 7.2 kg shipment
• Example 2
  • You want to ship a product measuring 45 x 20 x 15 cm and weighing 3 kg
  • Your packaging measures 50 x 25 x 20 cm and weighs 3,5 kg (product + packaging weight)
  • VW = 5 kg and RW = 3,5 kg
  • You will be charged for a 3,5 kg shipment

*The delivery time isn’t guaranteed for French islands and remote areas

**The guarantee delivery time is one working day for all orders placed before 12:45pm and with an “AUTO-FULFILL DELAY (MINUTES)” of 5 minutes maximum. For a “AUTO-FULFILL DELAY (MINUTES)” of 10 minutes, orders have to be placed before 12:40pm to be delivered next day, etc… Otherwise the guaranteed delivery time is 2 working days

***Fulfillment costs aren’t reimbursed in the event that:

• the buyer is responsible for the delivery delay: address change, incorrect address, pick up delivery requested, …
• force majeure case: strikes or exceptional weather conditions, for example
