💎 General tips

  • Fill in both a header image (that will appear on top of your tracking emails) and a marketing banner (that will appear at the bottom of your tracking emails)
    • Use a more generic visual for your header banner and one to specifically navigate the customer’s journey in your marketing banner
  • Use striking visuals that match your brand’s identity
  • Update your banners at least every quarter to create change for your most loyal customers

🧮 Tracking recommendations (to track the traffic generated from your banners with UTMs)

  • Your header image redirects to your shop homepage, with the following UTMs automatically added: ref=bigblue , utm_source=bigblue , utm_campaign=shop-url , utm_medium=tracking-email
  • Your marketing banner redirects to your chosen URL, you’re free to add any UTMs. We advise to refer to the banner used in a utm_content , example: utm_content=bottom_banner_mothers_day_2024

🔗 Getting a valid URL for your banners

  • If you’re using Shopify, images can be uploaded to the Shopify admin to get links.
    • Go to Content > Files, then click on Upload files, choose your image.Once it’s imported, click to copy link on the right, and paste it in Bigblue.

  • Else, you can use online image hosting services like https://postimages.org/ or https://imgbb.com/
