Custom Carrier

What is Custom Carrier ?

"Custom Carrier" refers to a shipping method for which Bigblue doesn't arrange the shipment with its carrier, it's up to the merchant to organize it. This applies to outbound shipments (orders).

Flat fees may apply for any order sent via the Custom Carrier option - please refer to the Bigblue contract.


What are Bigblue’s recommandations for Custom Carrier ?


đźšš Carrier: By selecting Custom Carrier, the merchant will be autonomous and provide the carrier. In order to well pick up the order, the merchant need to transmit to its carrier the fulfillment number. The warehouse will give the parcels only if the carrier has the fulfillment number.


đź”– Label: As custom carrier is not longer part of Bigblue standard process, if special labelling is required, the operation could be billed as special operation. Reach out to your POC at Bigblue to know the estimation time and cost.


🏭 LOG’S specificity: (Warehouse Code : EU-FRA-003)

Any order that needs to be collected at LOG’S in "Custom Carrier", must first have an appointment. Here are the information required for the specific criteria at LOG’S for Outbound collection (B2C + B2B) :

  • Warehouse informations :
    • Booking appointment 24h before collecting
    • Collecting hours : from 8h to 16h30
  • Please email eu-fra-003-appointment@bigblue.io with the following information :
    • Email title : “fulfilment number” - pick up custom carrier
      • (ex : BGBLINXX00000 - pick up custom carrier)
      • Fulfillment information
        • Reference to collect (fulfillment number…)
        • Volume of the shipment (number of pallets / parcels)
  • Please not that 0 parcel or pallet will be given to the carrier without an order number

🏭 Dispeo specificity: (Warehouse Code : EU-FRA-002)

Any order that needs to be collected at Dispeo in "Custom Carrier", must first have an appointment. Here are the information required for the specific criteria at Dispeo for Outbound collection (B2C + B2B) :

  • Warehouse informations :
    • Booking appointment 24h before collecting
    • Collecting hours : from 8h to 12h30 and 13h30 to 15h
    • Preferred slot
  • Please email eu-fra-002-appointment@bigblue.io with the following information :
    • Email title : “fulfilment number” - pick up custom carrier
      • (ex : BGBLINXX00000 - pick up custom carrier)
      • Fulfillment information
        • Reference to collect (fulfillment number…)
        • Volume of the shipment (number of pallets / parcels)
