B2B | Synchronize Shopify orders with payment terms

In 2023, Shopify released a set of wholesale features to allow brands to manage D2C and B2B businesses from a single place.

One of these features was the possibility to add payment terms to an order. Payment terms let you set the time period that a company has to pay for an order. After payment terms are set for a location, any B2B customer for that location can enter payment information for an order. Payment terms can also be used when creating a draft order for a B2B customer.

Using payment terms with Bigblue

Bigblue natively synchronises Shopify orders whose status is Paid, but it's not the case of orders with payment terms. To synchronise Shopify orders that have payment terms, go to Shop integrations, select the desired Shopify store, go to Settings > Data synchronization, find the Synchronize orders with payment terms and switch the toggle on — so that it becomes blue.

Shopify orders with payment terms will now translate into Bigblue orders, that will even be auto-fulfilled if you've switched auto-fulfillment on. (That applies even if the order is not paid, as long as it has payment terms.)
