Cash on Delivery Service (COD)
Cash on Delivery (COD) allows recipients to pay for an order upon package delivery. The courier collects the amount specified by the merchant, which includes both the product value and shipping costs.
At Bigblue, we use Correos Express for this service:

Service details
- Payment methods: Only cash is currently accepted
- Drivers do not carry change, so the exact amount is expected to be paid by the recipient
- In case recipient has no exact amount, there are two options:
- Recipient refuses the delivery and schedule a new one
- Recipient accepts the delivery assuming the money difference
- Collection limits: Up to €999
- Transfer periodicity to Merchants: Beginning on the first business day of each month, Bigblue will initiate transfers corresponding to all COD amounts settled during the previous month
- Method: Delivered at the recipients address
- Coverage: ES, Balearic, Canary, Ceuta, Melilla, AD, PT and Gibraltar
- Delivery attempts: 2
- Second attempt only if recipient solves incident over first unsuccessful attempt
- Email and SMS will be sent to ask recipient for instructions for second attempt
- If no reply from recipient, no second attempt performed and returned after 7 calendar days from first attempt
- There is no deviation to Pickup in COD service
- Dimensions:
- Max weight: 40kg
- Max measures: longest dimension must not exceed 150 cm and sum of dimensions must be lower than 240cm
- Recipient modifications:
- Deviation to PUP - ❌
- Address change - ✅
- Change of date/time - ✅
Invoiced weight
Volumetric weight is used for invoicing. Volumetric conversion: 125 kg/m3
