Offer pickup point delivery
Want to offer pickup point delivery options to your customers? Simply follow the steps below!
- Create the pickup point shipping method and map it in Bigblue
- Activate in your store
- What will the pickup point selection look like?
1. Create the pickup point shipping method and map it in Bigblue
- Navigate to your store admin (e.g., Shopify, PrestaShop's admin panel) to create a pickup point shipping method. If one already exists, simply make a note of its exact name
- In the Bigblue app, access your Settings at the bottom left corner, and navigate to Auto-fulfillment
- Access the Shipping Method dropdown menu by clicking on the arrow
- Select the pickup point shipping method you created in your shop (in this example, Point relais)
Assign Bigblue transportation offers (with pickup point delivery) in your Shipping Zones of interest
💡 Currently, from France, we offer more than 30,000 pickup points in France, Monaco, Spain, Portugal, Luxembourg, Belgium, the Netherlands and Italy.
Then, follow the setup specific to your store.
3. Activate it in your store
a. Shopify
Follow this article for the Shopify setup.
b. Prestashop
b. 1. Download the pickup point plugin and activate it in Prestashop
- Download the module here
Go to: Modules > Modules > Add a new module
- Click on Choose a file and select the .zip file you downloaded previously
Click on Upload this module
- Scroll down to see the Modules List and look for the module you uploaded
Click on Install
If you see this popup, click on Proceed with the installation
Once you complete the installation, you will see this message and you'll be all set!
b. 2. Activate the pickup point map in Bigblue
- Go to the Shop Integrations tab
- Click on the Settings tab, and then on Customer experience
- Click on Enable to activate the pickup point map
Other pickup point modules may conflict with the Bigblue selection solution. You should ensure that they are uninstalled from your shop.
c. For WooCommerce
c. 1. Download the pickup point plugin and activate it in Woocommerce
- Download the module here
Go to: WordPress Admin > Plugins > Add New
- Select Upload Plugin
Click on Choose File and select the .zip file you downloaded previously
- Click on Install Now
- Select Activate Plugin and you are all set!
c. 2. Activate the pickup point map in Bigblue
- Go to the Shop Integrations tab
- Click on the Settings tab, and then on Customer experience
- Click on Enable to activate the pickup point map

d. BigCommerce
With the activation in Bigblue, the map should be displayed on your store. If it doesn't, please contact us.

5. Q&A
What does the pickup point selection look like?
- PrestaShop, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, and Shopify Plus: Customers select their location during checkout. Once they choose the pickup shipping method, a button appears allowing them to open the map and select a point immediately.
- Non-Plus Shopify Plans: Customers select their location after payment. The map appears on the order confirmation (Thank You) page. We recommend adding a note to your shipping method name—e.g., "Pickup Point (select after payment)"—so customers know what to expect.
What happens if my customer forgets to select a pickup point?
If you have subscribed to the delivery pack, we automatically send an email reminder to the customer. They can then select their preferred location directly on the tracking page.
If you do not have the Delivery Pack: No reminder email is sent to the customer.
The Fail-Safe Assignment: Whether you have the Delivery Pack or not, if no selection is made, the system will automatically assign the pickup point closest to the customer's address. This occurs after 30 minutes, or once your auto-fulfillment delay has passed. This ensures you can proceed with order preparation without delay.
