Long-term inventory

In this article, we'll explore how long-term inventory reports can empower you to optimize your storage costs by clearing products that have been sitting in your warehouse for a long time.

Long-term inventory report

This report displays the number of items of each product that have been in the warehouse for 6 to 12 months and/or more than 12 months.

As a reminder, your volumetric storage rate depends on the storage duration.

Filter

• Warehouse: Specify the warehouse for which you are tracking your long-term inventory.
• Search products: Get the information about a specific product SKU?

Columns

• In warehouse for 6-12 months: Number of units of the SKU that have been in the specified warehouse for 6 to 12 months, based on inbound offloading-time.
• In warehouse for more than 12 months: Number of units of the SKU that have been in the specified warehouse for more than 12 months, based on inbound offloading-time.

A SKU for which no unit has been in the warehouse for more than 6 months will not appear on the report.
