How does it work?
Below is a quick step-by-step timeline explaining how the feature works.
The customer completed the checkout process and confirmed their order. |
The customer will receive an email from you 10 min after order confirmed (sent by Bigblue, white-labeled) with an offer that you crafted:
The customer has 1 hour to accept the offer |
(optional) Variant selection If the item has variants (size/options), the customer will see a temporary screen to select the variant they want. |
The customer is interested in your offer, clicks on it. They are redirected to a Shopify checkout to pay for the extra item. Note: In some cases (e.g., using Shop Pay), no additional payment method is required. However, for credit card payments, the customer may need to re-enter their payment details. |
🎉 Order updated Once the customer has paid, the order and fulfillment are updated with the new item. |
