Current situation
We want to inform you about a nationwide strike by Canadian postal workers, launched on September 26, 2025, by the Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW).
This strike has halted Canada Post operations and is also affecting some of our international postal partners:
- π«π· From France: Colissimo, Delivengo
- πͺπΈ From Spain: Correos
- π¬π§ From the UK: Royal Mail
During this period:
- Parcels shipped via these carriers will not be processed or delivered.
- Some post offices may be closed.
- Delivery commitments are suspended until further notice.
Orders mapped to these carriers will be marked as Action Required in the Bigblue app.
Your options moving forward
π What can you do to keep shipping your orders?
To continue delivering to your customers in Canada during the strike, you can use UPS (or FedEx for Spain). Please note that using these carriers may incur additional costsβrefer to your billing rates for details.
You have two options:
- Ship without delays: Update your auto-fulfillment settings in the Bigblue app to map UPS (or FedEx for Spain).
- Wait for the strike to end: Keep your current settings (less expensive option).
π‘ We also recommend adding a note in your order confirmation emails to inform customers about potential delivery delays to Canada.
