Returns | Monitor and process returns
Follow this guide to understand how to access your returns list with one click, track their resolution statuses and activate returns' notifications 🤩
The returns’ to-do list
To efficiently track your returns and refunds, go to Orders > Returns.
Once you’re there, you can easily view and filter your returns, notably using those fields:
- Returned by: either by Customer or Carrier (following transport issues per say)
- Received: date at which the return was received and controlled at the warehouse
- Items: number of items, with a red alert symbol (🔺) in case of an issue at quality control
- Request: either Exchange, Store credit or Refund depending on your return portal setup
- Status: those in Action required need your attention, more details in the next section below
Statuses of the returns
Open | Expected returns that haven’t been received & controlled at the warehouse yet |

Closed | Case 1: Returns that were created more than 2 months ago Case 2: Returns that were received & controlled at the warehouse, and that either:

Action required | Returns that were received and controlled at the warehouse, and that need your attention to process to Closed, as described in the next section |
At first, you might see many Action required returns.
- We recommend reviewing these returns and closing the already processed ones. Moving forward, you can close returns as you process them to keep you up to date!
- Returns automatically switch to Closed once older than two months
Manually close a return
To close a return, click on the return you're interested in, click on the Close return button and complete the closing details (manual resolution method and optional notes) to track your actions.

Get notified about returns
You can use email, browser, or Slack notifications to get informed about your returns. To activate the notifications, go to your notification settings on the Bigblue App.
